Fighting back against vaping

America's children and schools are facing a health safety tsunami - vaping, a public health risk of epically growing proportions.

With its children friendly flavors and easy access, vaping is hooking our kids. Despite only entering the market in 2007, 1 in 5 high school students and 1 in 20 middle school students have vaped.

One JUUL (the most popular brands of e-cigarettes) pod contains the same nicotine as a pack of cigarettes. Despite these risks, approximately two-thirds of JUUL users aged 15-24 do not know that JUUL contains nicotine.

Schools and parents are spending thousands of dollars on vape detectors and addiction counselors to fight the e-cigarette epidemic. Vaping deaths are skyrocketing among teenagers and the FDA has issued a formal warning letter to JUUL for misleading the public about the safety of its product.

Enough is enough.

JUUL and the other the big e-cigarette companies have done enough damage to our schools and our children. They have lied to the American people about their product and purposefully targeted our children to hook them on vaping.

We are calling for all on e-cigarette makers to remove their products from shelves, everywhere. Only when their product is fully removed from store shelves can we end the e-cigarette epidemic and start to repair our schools, heal our children, and rebuild our communities.
